LITTLE BIRTHDAY FOR MY LITTLE BABE

Last week we celebrated our daughter’s second birthday. It was very simple and she loved it. The only decorations we got were some tissue paper pom poms banners from Party City. We didn’t even get her a big cake; just one slice and these cute Hello Kitty waffles. We got them from this little shop in the Shirokiya Japan Village Walk at the Ala Moana mall. We were also trying to stay on a budget and got the banners, wrapping paper, cake and waffles for around $20.
We only got her one gift as well and she got several more from family. She doesn’t need much and she loved what she got. She has been playing with the few toys she got every day and reads her new books during story time every night. We have started giving the kids less gifts for their birthdays and Christmas. We noticed when they get less, they actually focus on the toys they got for longer. They don’t just throw them in the corner and forget about them.
She really enjoyed herself and had her brothers participate in opening her gifts with her. She even blew out her candles all by herself.
